Mike Wisnefski is CEO of MaterialsXchange, an electronic B2B marketplace for buying and selling lumber, OSB, and plywood. Users are connected digitally in real-time with instantaneous transactions, and shipments are available by road or rail.

Mike began his career in the mid-90’s with Bloch Lumber as a lumber trader responsible for managing the buying, selling, and profitability for a large inventory. Later, Mike became the Vice President of Business Development in charge of increasing the size of Bloch’s forward sales portfolio.

Before starting MX, Mike ran STX Trading, a proprietary trading firm that specialized in trading lumber futures and options through the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He also provided lumber trading consulting and training.

Stinson Dean
Owner, Deacon Lumber Company

Stinson Dean is the CEO of Deacon Lumber Company. He currently is one of the largest lumber traders in the marketplace and has a unique view of the market in real time. He tracks and discusses pricing, lumber futures, mills, and railcars.
